On Monday, asset manager BlackRock and cryptocurrency investment firm bitwise filed amended S1 form with the Securities and Exchange Commission. They answered questions that the regulator may have asked in previous conversations.

Analysts had expected changes to be made to prior filings following meetings between the SEC last week and applicants. James Seyffart of Bloomberg Intelligence posted about the filings.

He said that the 11 other applicants, such as Fidelity Franklin and WisdomTree will follow suit in a short time.

BlackRock’s latest filing contained several updates, including themes such as security, risk, disclosures and the Trust structure. CryptoSlate reported that the latest update from asset management giant BlackRock included 21 notable changes. Other topics include the potential regulatory impact on the ETF, and how to navigate regulatory landscapes in other jurisdictions like the UK and EU.

The SEC will make a final decision between Jan 5th and 10th on whether to approve or not one or more bitcoin spot ETFs. This is the deadline for this. Bloomberg analysts say that there is a 90% probability that this scenario will occur.
