According to Tuesday’s filings, Capital One Financial Corp. COF, -1.33 % raised $3.5 Billion in a pair corporate bond offerings, while Truist Financial Corp. TFC, -1.05 % raised $2.25 Billion in two parts. Truist issued $1.5 billion of medium-term fixed-to floating rate senior notes in 2027, and $1.75 billion of medium-term fixed-to floating rate senior notes in 2034. Capitol One issued $1.75 Billion in fixed-to floating rate senior notes in 2029. It also issued $1.75 Billion in fixed-to floating rate senior notes in 2034. Capitol One’s stock was down slightly in Tuesday pre-market trading. Truist Financial’s stock will be down 25.5% by 2023, while the S&P500 SPX is only down 11.3%.
