BTC Price Index and Live Chart – CoinDesk”>(BTC) exchange-traded funds will be listed and start trading on its stock exchanges on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the ” New Listings page of the exchange operator featured bitcoin ETFs from Ark 21 (ARKB), Fidelity FBTC (FBTC), Franklin Templeton EZBC (BTCO), Invesco BTCO (BTCO), VanEck HODL (BTCW), and WisdomTree BTCW (BTCW).

Listing does not mean the ETFs are approved by SEC. The SEC still has to approve the 19b-4 and other filings of the applicants.

Cboe’s spokesperson stated that the SEC has not yet approved our spot bitcoin ETFs. The notices on our website are part of the standard procedure for launching an ETF.

The notice is issued ahead of a possible official approval by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday. The approval of bitcoin ETFs could make bitcoin more accessible to investors who don’t want to visit a crypto-exchange.

About a dozen bitcoin ETF applicants are waiting for approval by the SEC. As competitors continue to reduce their fees in anticipation of a possible green light, the battle for bitcoin ETF market shares has heated up.
