The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that Lazard Ltd LAZ terminated the employment contract of Reid Snellenbarger after he was accused of acting inappropriately towards co-workers during a party held by him this past weekend. The newspaper reported that Snellenbarger’s spokesperson declined to comment. The WSJ, citing people who were familiar with the matter, reported that he asked people to attend a gathering not sponsored by Lazard. According to an internal report, the bank informed employees that a managing director had been fired for acting “in a way both inappropriate and uncompatible with our values.”
