Mallinckrodt PLC (MNK, -2.71 %) announced Friday that they have decided to delay by one week the $200 million payment for opioid settlements. Payment was originally due June 16 but was deferred to June 23. Now, it is delayed until June 30. The drugmaker said that it is continuing to talk with stakeholders about its financial obligations and capital position, including whether it will file for bankruptcy. In premarket trading the stock rose 0.1%, while futures SPX ES00 were down 0.7%.
