• Revolut, a digital bank, is testing the beta version of an exchange for cryptocurrency aimed at “advanced investors.”
  • The Revolut app will still be available, but the exchange will have lower fees.

According to an email sent to customers by CoinDesk, digital bank Revolut will introduce a cryptocurrency trading exchange aimed at “advanced investors.”

Revolut offers crypto services for many of its customers. The exchange will lower fees and enhance market analytics.

The email that asked the customer for a test of the new platform stated: “We are launching a brand new crypto exchange built with advanced traders’ in mind.” You’ll discover deeper analytical tools and lower costs than the app.

The fees have been set at 0% to 0.09% and the functionality to trade with limit and market orders has been added. Limit orders are used by traders who want to buy or sell an item at a certain price. Limit orders are free.

In December, Revolut stopped offering crypto services to business customers within the U.K. Citing the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)’s new regulations on crypto promotions. CoinDesk received the email from a U.K. customer.

Revolut announced earlier this week that it plans to list Solana’s largest meme coin BONK in a “learn-and-earn” campaign, which will see BONK distributed to some of the company’s customers.

Revolut didn’t immediately respond to CoinDesk’s request for a comment.
