The U.S. stock market remained slightly lower on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve released the minutes of its June policy meeting at 2 pm Eastern Time. Treasury yields rose as the minutes confirmed most senior Fed officials, but not all, would support further interest rate hikes in 2019. In recent trades, the S&P 500 SPX fell 7.5 points or 0.2% to 4,448. The index is still just below its 52-week high closing price from Friday. The Nasdaq composite COMP fell 30 points or 0.2% to 13,784, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA also fell.
